Training

Training: a means of progressing and of upgrading skills to meet constantly changing market needs.

Our approach

Our goals converge in the area of professional training:

  • Our staff wish to progress and acquire advanced skills that meet market demands.
  • Our company's key strength resides in the excellence and motivation of our staff.

GFI's training policy goes far beyond the legal requirements. Our goal is to provide each of our employees with the necessary tools for developing his or her skills.

Strategic lines of our training programme

Our training programme focuses on three main skill areas:

  • Technical skills:
Technical training concerns a large variety of areas. Particular efforts have been made in environments that are currently much in demand, such as JAVA J2EE, DOT.NET and LAMP.
We also continue to provide training in our partners' technologies: IBM, BEA, Microsoft, Oracle, BO, etc. and in ERP: SAP, HR ACCESS, ORACLE APPLICATION, and ADONIX.
Our outsourcing specialists benefit from special training programmes in this field (ITIL, etc.).
We favour training programmes resulting in certification for our technical training courses.

  • Commercial skills:
Commercial skills include areas as varied as quality, project leadership, business expertise, marketing skills, recruitment techniques, etc.

  • Personal development:
This area includes English language skills, corporate culture and relational skills.

Resources

We choose our training partners very carefully for the quality of their services and their knowledge of our businesses.
E-learning enables staff to access the entire technical library of the world leader, SkillSoft, comprising more than 2,000 training courses.
The training department advises staff and managers in their choice of training. A great deal of information (list of partner bodies, procedures, information on the internal training department and professional training periods, etc.) is available on the intranet.
